Testing is conducted using high-quality 3m x 3m smoke leakage test rigs equipped with specialised smoke leakage chambers, controlled pressure systems, flow meters and digital monitoring equipment to accurately measure leakage rates and pressure differentials. The system can evaluate smoke leakage performance under both positive and negative pressure conditions in accordance with the applicable test standard.
Evidence for EN 13501-2 Classification
Warringtonfire provides testing to support smoke control performance requirements and generates the evidence needed to achieve Sa3, Sa4, S200 and S200L classifications in accordance with EN 13501-2. Smoke control S is the ability of the element to reduce below a certain value the passage of gases or smoke from one side of the element to the other. Testing can be carried out as a standalone programme or also integrated with fire resistance testing for doorsets.
